The AEIAR is an international non-profit association in accordance with the Belgian law
of 27 June 1921.
The institutions for the reorganisation of rural areas are individual members of AEIAR and have each one vote in the general assembly of the association. On the basis of a rotating system the president, the Secretary-General and the board of directors of AEIAR are elected for a two years period.
